3 Festive Fragrances To Scent Your Home This Season

Updated: Dec 6, 2021

Christmas really is just around the corner, with December 25th only five or so weeks away… so now’s the perfect time to start thinking about decorating the house, making it as festive as you possibly can so you’re ready for the big day and really get into the spirit of the festive season.

One of the quickest ways to bring Christmas alive at home is to invest in some wonderfully fragranced soy wax candles, choosing your scents wisely so you can bring in all those delicious seasonal smells. But which to choose? Here are just a couple of fragrances to look out for if you’re not sure where to begin.

Cinnamon

When it comes to Christmas spices, this one really does rule the roost and once you’ve lit your candles, you’re sure to see why. The spicy lingering fragrance will really help get you in the festive spirit - and perhaps inspire you to get baking in the kitchen, as well!

Gingerbread

Christmas is all about the food for a lot of us, but if you’re not ready to get cracking with all your seasonal baking just yet, what about lighting a gingerbread candle and just enjoying the scent for a few weeks before getting the cookie cutters out?

Nectarine blossom

Nectarines are traditionally found at the bottom of Christmas stockings and, as legend would have it, this is because St Nicholas was so generous that he gave three gold balls to a man whose daughters were unable to marry for lack of a dowry.

Why not try one of our two best sellers. Glowy Winter & Sparkly Snow.

Apparently, old Saint Nick threw the gold down the chimney and they landed in the toes of the girls’ stockings, which were hung up to dry by the fire! Light some nectarine blossom or orange scented candles to bring this story to life at home.
